As a vendor, you have the chance to showcase your products or services while being part of a festive and culturally rich atmosphere. Vendors offer a variety of merchandise, food, crafts, and informational materials to festival attendees. The event is open to any vendor who wishes to participate. Please review the information below to assist you with the submission process.
The Juneteenth Bulloch Planning Committee reserves the right to decline vendor(s) due, but not limited, to: #1 – duplication of products; #2 – past concerns or issues with any vendor/exhibitor; and #3 – vendors selling items that are not approved or deemed inappropriate for the event. KNIVES, GUNS (WEAPONS OF ANY KIND), SILLY STRING, STINK BOMBS/POPPERS AND FLEA MARKET/YARD SALE ITEMS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED!
RULES
1. Exhibitors must provide their set up and equipment. No tents, tables, chairs, water or electricity will be provided.
2. Merchandise and storage/packing containers cannot block vendor space or be set up in public walking areas and on sidewalks. This includes the access lanes to the festival (all roads leading in). All supplies must be contained within your assigned vendor space. All power cords that cross walking paths must be taped down or covered to avoid trip hazards. POWER CORDS ARE FOR GENERATORS ONLY, WE CANNOT PROVIDE ELECTRICITY OR WATER.
3. Booth fee and space will be forfeited if the exhibitor does not set up on time. Booth spaces cannot be sublet to another vendor.
4. Spaces will be assigned prior to the event ONLY after Vendor Application & Payment have been received. BOOTH FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, as we cannot control a hurricane, lightning or possible tornadoes. All sources will be considered before canceling.
5. Vendors using grease are responsible for disposal of it in a safe manner. The dumping of grease or wastewater on the grounds is prohibited.
6.Booths must be staffed and “open for business” at all times during operating hours. No exhibitor will be allowed to leave the venue prior to the close of the event.
7. NO VEHICLES will be allowed in the vendor area (parked or in motion) during operating hours. You must drive to your vendor space, unload your vehicle, park your vehicle, then return to your vendor space and assemble/set up your exhibit. ALL VEHICLES MUST BE OFF THE STREET BY 7:45 AM. NO EXCEPTIONS!
8. All tents must be free standing. DO NOT anchor tents by drilling through the asphalt or cement.
9. The Juneteenth Bulloch Committee will not accept responsibility for lost or stolen items, nor loss of profit due to sales.
10. Vendors must cease all sales and begin to dismantle their exhibit promptly at the end of the event.
11. The Juneteenth Committee, event security, as well as law enforcement agencies has the authority to uphold all rules and regulations.
12. NO PETS are allowed in booth spaces or at the festival.
NOTE: Violation of the vendor guidelines will result in forfeiting vendor space and removal from the event plus prohibition from participating in future events.
I understand and agree that the following terms and conditions outlined in this document apply to me. I also agree to indemnify and hold harmless Juneteenth Bulloch, its partners, vendors, sponsors. affiliates, designees, organizers, associates, and committee members from any and all claims which are brought by, or on my behalf, and which are in any way connected with my participation in the festival.
In consideration, I am permitted to participate in activities organized or operated by Juneteenth Bulloch. I, the party involved hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Juneteenth Bulloch event Code of Conduct and other policies and procedures posted on the Juneteenth Bulloch website.
2. I understand and agree that the Juneteenth Bulloch policies and procedures, and the terms and conditions of participation set out in the vendor rules/guidelines are always effective and apply to me when present in and around the event venue and during the festival.
3. I acknowledge and agree that the completion and submitting of the vendor form or acceptance of event badge, or other form of admission issued by Juneteenth Bulloch constitutes is acceptance of agreement to the following: (a) Releases Juneteenth Bulloch from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right, or any claim or cause of action of any kind. (b) Authorizes and permits Juneteenth Bulloch and its designees to use my name, voice, and likeness and all reproduction thereof in all media now and hereafter known for all purposes in perpetuity. (c) Agrees to comply with all festival and parade rules and regulations.
4. I understand that the festival and/or parade in which I will participate is of a voluntary nature. I further understand that some of the vendor activities involve physical activities, including but not limited to lifting light weight items, walking, attaching / assembling banners and signage, and assembling event tents and may be inherently dangerous and may carry the rise of serious or grievous injuries, including bodily injury, damage to personal property and/or death. I understand the nature of vendor activities and represent that I am qualified and have no health problems, medical issues, or disabilities that would not allow me to participate in such vendor activities.
5. Should it be necessary for me to receive medical care while participating as a Juneteenth Bulloch Vendor, I give Juneteenth Bulloch personnel permission to use reasonable discretion in obtaining medical care for me, and grant permission to any physician or other qualified medical providers, including but not limited to nurses and ambulance personnel to render whatever medical care they deem necessary & that all charges for services, equipment, and supplies incurred for such treatment shall be my sole responsibility, and agree to pay for all that was associated with rendering medical care to me.
PURCHASING A VENDOR SPACE CONFIRMS YOUR AGREEMENT TO THE RULES, TERMS, AND CONDITIONS STATED ABOVE.
